Peter Durkson

Peter Durkson is involved with aging and caregiver issues on Maui.
As a caregiver for his own parents in Salt Lake City, Mr. Durkson first became aware of the issues of aging in place. He eventually became one of the founders of the University of Utah’s Elder Care Information and Referral Service and the Health Sciences Elder Care Special Library Collection.
He has an undergraduate degree in Economics and Psychology from Swarthmore College and a Masters degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Mr. Durkson’s work experience includes behavioral science applications, sales and training consulting, and financial planning. He has lived on Maui since 2005 where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Maui County Council on Aging and the President of the Harvard Club of Maui.

John M. Day

John M. Day is a long-time technology executive and management
consultant. He is deeply knowledgeable in technology assessment,
development, distribution and integration. Mr. Day has been a valued
advisor to top management with Fortune 200 consulting experience, as
a consulting manager with the organizations that are now Ernst &
Young, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
In addition to managing the implementation of worldwide EFT
networks, telecommunications products and services, he is a
specialist in logistics, having delivered mission critical
transportation business solutions to clients in North America and
Europe.
Mr. Day was partner liaison dealing with vendors of
technology-based products and services including development and
porting services, communications services, accounting systems,
satellite communications services.
Mr. Day holds a BA, with honors, from Harvard University, and has
more than 25 years of consulting experience.
Today Mr. Day is a Maui-based business owner, independent
management consultant and Partner of Maui AgeWave LLC.
